Social Care Wales’ research and development strategy for Wales 2018 to 2023 is a collaborative approach, setting out our vision for the next five years. The strategy has been produced in partnership between Social Care Wales, a new national leadership body for the social care sector, and Health and Care Research Wales. We have worked with a range of partners to develop this strategy and it will be a collective effort to realise its ambitions.

Mae strategaeth ymchwil a datblygu i Gymru 2018 i 2023 yma gan Gofal Cymdeithasol Cymru yn un cydweithredol, gan nodi ein gweledigaeth ar gyfer y pum mlynedd nesaf. Cynhyrchwyd y strategaeth mewn partneriaeth rhwng Gofal Cymdeithasol Cymru, corff arweinyddiaeth cenedlaethol newydd ar gyfer y sector gofal cymdeithasol, ac Ymchwil Iechyd a Gofal Cymru. Rydym wedi gweithio gydag ystod eang o bartneriaid i ddatblygu’r strategaeth a bydd yn ymdrech ar y cyd i gyflawni ei uchelgais.

This document reports on the work undertaken with funding from the JRF by Nick Andrews, John Gabbay, Andreé le May, Emma Miller, Martin O’Neill and Alison Petch demonstrating the gains that can be made when research and other forms of evidence are used to develop and enrich services to improve wellbeing for older people, staff and carers.
